Technologies and solutions which have minimum requirements are the best. If you ask your user to follow 5 steps to solve his problem which include some new setup which he needs to understand just for the solution of his problem,at the end you solved the problem but beauty of solution dies.
Thats why i like solutions which are built on basic infrastructure already in-place and does not require any new setup for achieving a new functionality or solving a particular problem. One of them is Google SMS which enables you for searching the information through SMS.

I think it is a great value add for people who use emails but does not have better handsets like blackberry.
