Baby Care online information – 5 websites for Indian Parents
Few months ago i was blessed with a baby girl. From the time when I got the good news of baby’s arrival till today I am learning various things. The whole thing is so magical and you face a lot of situations which you never imagined in your life. Generally this period is the time when many times you are exited, many times you are depressed and many more times you are confused. I am trying to list down here some of the websites which I read during this time and which cleared most of our confusions. I would not recommend to follow these websites for any thing critical. Consult your doctor for that.
All these websites provide information related to pregnancy, baby care, baby products (nappies, diapers, toys ), baby food, baby immunizations, different stages and baby’s development etc. You can find answers to your questions in forums or using comments on articles.
1. Baby Center: Best among all and contains articles on almost all related topics. They have a very good email subscription feature which sends you email every week according to the progress of baby. This website recently launched a phone service using which you can get information on phone.
2. What to Expect: It is another website for knowing what to expect at what time. There is a famous series of books of What to Expect for various stages like “What to expect when you are expecting” and “What to expect in First year” etc. You get vary similar content here. Content is rich but some articles are more relevant only for US people.
3. India Parenting: It’s content is more related to Indian environment and lifestyle so will be more useful for Indians and they can get solutions to their problems easily.
4. Indian Baby Care: Again an indian website and can articles are more related to baby care in indian way. Most of above websites cover the complete period starting from pregnancy but this is exclusively for baby care.
5. Welcome Baby Home: Here you can find articles of similar interest as above. You can start from Parenting – > New born basics.
Best of luck!
